You are very lucky to have quality birds, especially marans, close to you. I had to get eggs from the next state over(or 2 over) and haven't had great hatches. The only eggs I got local were my La Fleche, which I happened to find on a whim. It has turned into quite an expensive hobby
Ya I could not believe my luck when peachick first told me she was getting marans ! I had been looking for them they were just a dream because I have no bator. She hatched for me and let me pick up great quality chicks for a very resonable price.
Awww Henry TY Im actually hatching out eggs for the last person that won my auction. Shes only 2 hours away and was nervous about incubating them... so I have them in my bator. I tossed in the last eggs of the season with them... out of 13 eggs. 12 are looking wonderful.... due in 10 days.
The extra chicks that will hatch are already sold. Then thats it for the year. Probably no more eggs for me until the Sebastopols start to lay in Feb.

Yeah its me. I hope I win, but still has some time to go. They are from a guy on here and he has been great with giving me a lot of information.
This is the email that I got back when I asked for pictures.
Unfortunately, not before the auction ends. Selling birds straight run means that the buyer is accepting that the birds havent been sexed. If youd like a guarantee of their gender, and I can understand that you would, then purchasing trios gives you that guarantee
