Looking for Breeders in RI, CT, or MA

I am looking for breeders of rare or heritage breeds in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. I have ordered chicks from hatcheries but I am also looking for some older birds. Any information would be appreciated.

I've had good luck posting on the state thread; usually regulars posts there and have suggestions, or someone lurking may respond.

I just attended the Boston Poultry show in N Oxford, MA. A huge turnout, complete with a free list of the people with entries and the breeds they have and phone numbers. THere are a number of shows in MA and RI, perhaps CT too. Try the show section as well. Big show in Springfield , in Jan, I think.

We are in NH, but we frequently make our way to RI as we do work with Coggeshall Farm museum (we are working on the possibility of doing a Chickenstock there in the Spring). We raise/breed American Dominiques, SC Red Dorkings, and Speckled Sussex.

Very new here and I hope I'm not intruding but I'm in Ct. and am also looking for breeders in the same area. I'd like to find some Araucanas, (black); Jersey giants (black); and Shamos.......I wish I had known of the Boston show but will be the Springfield show.What breeds are you looking for ?

Bantam Cochin, Sumatras, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Brahmas, and Cochins

Very difficult to find anything other than Red and Black Sex links in my area.​
