I looked for the bullseye blastoderm. It was pretty apparent in most of the eggs I recently checked. A few were hard for me to tell. I have 2 RIRs who are mating the pullets regularly and a OE who I sometimes see mating. The bigger, older RIRs usually chase him off. Since we want to incubate soon, we've decided to hatch a couple of our female OE's eggs and our Cream Legbar's eggs. They both appeared fertile. I figure they should give us something fun regardless of the father.
What's the best way to store the eggs before we incubate them?
