Looking for Buckeyes

I'm in northern KY, and happy to help. Are you looking for hatching eggs, chicks, or started birds?

Also, see the American Buckeye Poultry Club's Yahoo group here: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/AmericanBuckeyePoultryClub/

And you can see this bird and more at our website: http://www.pathfindersfarm.com/

Well, not eggs because we don't have an incubator, nor our are girls inclined to sitting for any length of time.

We are looking for straight run chicks or birds. We want to keep the best for Laying/hatching and send the extra boys to freezer camp.

How are they at laying? Everything I have read says that are a true dual purpose breed. We want layers and some meat birds, but I am frankly a little creeped out by Frankenchicken Cornish Xs. lol

I have also read that they have very good dispositions and are generally friendly. I have a 4 and 5 year old, and we are having a lot of trouble out of our BO roo who is SURE that my son is a rooster (ok, well, Dear Son DOES have a mohawk, but still...hehe). Do you ship? What is your minimum order?

I am finished hatching for the season, won't do any more Buckeyes until spring. Would be happy to put you on my waiting list though.

My prices are as follows:

Hatching eggs: $36 for 12 plus extras (generally 15) which includes shipping by Priority Mail.
Chicks: 25 straight run chicks are $135, which includes shipping by Express Mail.
Started birds are $20 each, plus a box/shipping fee of $50. I can fit a trio of young birds in one box.
Adult birds can be delivered to shows we attend in KY, OH, and IN. Contact us for pricing (we are sold out at this time.)

Let me know if you'd like me to add you to my list for spring.
