You will love them. We have a old girl we call Grandma B that doesn't lay any more. She is just in retirement and spoiled daily. We also have a beautiful 8 month old Roo named Lil Bit that loves to be held. We just got a breeding pair of 8 week olds that we are working with and our sister-in-law is getting us a few chicks. We love the Buff Brahma Bantams and hopefully by this time next year we'll have a good breeding flock of them. We have 27 different breeds here and they are by far the best of the bantam breeds that we have. And if you ever want to go to full size heavy breeds try Black Sex-Links. Our girls are the gentlest we have ever found.

i have light brahmas coming on friday from Cackle Hatchery that are supposed to be day old pullets. but i know you are probably looking for an older bird. and these are not supposed to be bantams.

i will have 10 of them coming and i am planning on selling a few at one of the upcomming swaps in NH. i was planning on the Chichester and Hampton swaps in June but could make a trip down to the Milford one to meet.

Did you get your new babies?

yep, the little cuties arrived yesterday morning and i got the call at 6:45am!

they sent me 11 of them total and they all look healthy!

i'll probably be parting with about 7 of them at the swap.

sorry, i meant to say the Merrimack swap i will be there. i haven't gone to that one yet and i'll try to get there as early as i can. it all depends on how early i can get the dh out of bed and the car packed with birds.

we'll probably have the white subaru outback that day. and my hubby likes to wear a bandana on his head-a big guy. we'll have the tye-dye shirts and jams/jellies for sale too under a green awning.
