I’m not sure they do, in fact I asked on a Mareks thread earlier if there was a map showing where Mareks has been found (turns out, everywhere), because I’ve never heard anyone around here, either chicken friends, feed store people, or chicken breeders talking about it, like it’s not even on the radar.
Mareks is such a sneaky disease and can look like so many other things, and live testing isn’t 100% accurate, but even so, it makes me wonder how much is REALLY out there.
Anyway, all that is to say that if you can’t find vaccinated chicks, you shouldn’t let that stop you from getting them :)
