I have some named and some that don't really have names. Red Rooster is my oldest one, Ozzie is the youngest, and the green eggs are Mabeline, Grey-Butt, and Grey-face [My twelve year old brother named the last two of those, in case you couldn't tell.] My friend named Sponge's two babies Mr.Clean and Spongette. The rest don't have definite names, although I really should name them. I should also have a definite count of how many I have.
I also have two ducks, which are known as the Duck Brothers and can never be separated. One will follow you if you pick up the other, and I don't think they've been apart more than an hour in their entire lives -including as eggs, since I hatched them.
The emu is Phoenix; he or she is nine months old and already as tall as me if he/she wants to be.

As for the cats it could very well be.. Cats seem to like calm people who don't bother them, but rather let them come over and interact on their own terms. Cats hated me when I was a kid until I learned that, now I can befriend almost any cat given time.

Mine bring me lots of laughs as Phoenix chases the chickens around the yard in the morning when I let them all out and does his crazy emu dance... I really need to get a video of that. It's not quite as crazy as when he was a baby, but the "emu happy dance" is still one of the most ridiculous things I've seen a creature do.
I don't know if the chickens know he's just playing.

A true Ameraucana will only lay blue eggs, not green. Green would mean it's an Easter Egger. My EE is the most beautiful bird ever.

@Erka97 how did this turn out? I live in northwest NJ near the Delaware Water Gap. If you are cl9se I MIGHT be able to get a double yolker or 2 for you.

There are some youtube videos (watched them last night) that show the hatching of twins from chicken eggs. It's rare, but it does happen.

And I have a copper Marans that throws double yolks all the time--last egg of hers I tried to incubate wasn't fertile, so I'm not sure if the rooster is wooing her correctly. ;-). But I could send you some double yolkers--I'm assuming you want eggs that have NOT been in the fridge?
