Congratulations!! I'm still waiting. Broody's are hard at it, 1st one due on 4/4/10. 2nd hen due on 4/6/10. 3rd hen just started 2 days ago. I've added five 4' by 8' pens, and 7 small pens for the little guys if they don't get along well together! Already have hatched 31 this year, and broody's are trying to hatch 42 between the three of them. Have I lost my mind???!!!!!

I have a pip ~ and her egg is dancing too! One of my mottled frizzle bantam Cochins just pipped! They are only on day 19 ~ hatch day is supposed to be early Sunday morning.

Now how am I supposed to watch my bator and still be outside mulching my gardens?

my runner duckling hatched today!!!!!!!! it is adorable. shes black/blue with crazy green all over her body. her feet are the size of my pinky fingernail!! shes adorable!! i hear my silkie egg peeping from inside but no pipping yet!!

LOL i was so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think im only going to be getting the runner and possible the silkie out of these eggs and im just going to take them from the broody hen and break up the broodyness. lol i cant see her being happy in the house when the weather is reaching 70-80 now
