Looking for Easter Hatch Buddies!!!

Well, I heard chirping!!! Thats a start! I better have a chick, or a least a pip in the morning!!!!

This is my first incubation and I made my bator from plans on BYC. I really did'nt think I would have very good luck but so far this is what I have and it looks promising.

I set 20 eggs on March 12
4 white pekin ducks
16 mixed chickens The duck eggs wont actually hatch until next week but only 3 of them have developed.
Out of the 16 chicks 1 didn't develop, 7 have hatched so far and all of the rest are pipping.
One of the chicks that hatched had something wrong with its legs and I had to put it down but the rest are doing great!

I am not sure what happened to the one but its feet were all curled up and it's legs were stiff as boards. Does anybody know what caused this or can give me any information?

Just got 2 more in the past hour... The big white pointy egg I had, didn't know if it was white leghorn or WC Black Polish, I see black!!!! YES!!! Not out of the egg yet. 8 chicks, 1 call duck...

Here's my little ones all fluffed out...

Hopefully this is a litte GIRL! She looks like a Lady Gaga to me.

I stuck some extra eggs under my broody hen 22 days ago and low and behold this morning, she reluctantly introduced me to her 3 babies wheaten marans!

Got three morning zipping now. WC black polish taking it's time, had med. brown egg, hatch black chick. Maran dad... thinking.
Single comb. Know hen too. Black sexlink.

Heh, my rir's are on day 25 and just hatching- looks like i belong on this board after all!
