Looking for Easter Hatch Buddies!!!

I think I will candle one last time tonight and take out the duds. Only because turning them is a pain, so the fewer, the quicker!

I candled mine tonight (day 10) and was pleasantly surprised. I set 29 shipped eggs which were roughly handled by the PO. The side is the box was smashed in.

The results were: 3 of 4 BLRW developing
2 of 3 Mottled Frizzle Bantam Cochin developing
5 of 7 EE developing plus 1 with shell too dark to see
15 of 15 Mutts developing

That is a total of 25 (or 26) of 29 developing so far!

I am totally amazed as this is my first hatch with my new Genesis 1588 bator.

I was almost afraid to post this as I don't want to jinx anything!

I will be a nervous wreck waiting to see how many hatch on Easter Day

You should be able to smell a bad egg by now right? I cannot detect an odor yet. It is hard to tell with brown eggs. I see a dark mass, veins and the air cell. In some lighter eggs, I see movement. So there is hope.

I have one Icelandic chick due to hatch on Easter.
