Good evening, all! We candled tonight, (a day early) and here are the results:

Our Flock
Americauna: movement
Phoenix: movement
No Name: moving like crazy!

Shipped eggs
MD2: Died

BO eggs 2 through 9 all have good movement!!

?: good movement

So, very excited..going into day 14 and have 12 out of 15 dancing in their shells!

Ostara can't come soon enough!!

Congrats to everyone! This is my first incubation and I am on pins and needles!!!!

I have been going crazy counting the days!! I did candle tonight and 3 of the 4 duck eggs are growing and one seems to have stopped.
I only candled 3 of the 15 barnyard mutts and they were growing. I am going to leave the bator alone except when I turn the eggs and I dont have to open it to do that.
If everyone is on time they should hatch April 2

I hope everyone has a successful hatch on Easter weekend!! I'm so nervous! This is my 1st hatch and I hope I didn't mess up. If so, try and try again. I hope we have at least 2 hatches out of 10 fertile eggs. We are going to have company on Easter weekend. Their 8 year old daughter and my girls would love to watch chicks hatch for the 1st time.

I sure hope the temperature spike of 104 for who knows how long between 3am and 8am yesterday morning didn't harm them.

I candled today. I have a total of 20 eggs...
4 white pekin ducks and 3 are doing well and one has stopped for whatever reason.
16 mixed chicken eggs and 15 seem to be doing well and one stopped at some point.
Wednesday is lock down so I will not be opening it anymore ( I might have said this before lol ). They are due to hatch this friday April 2 but My temps have been a little low so it may take a few extra days.
I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Well, we had a 6 hour power outage while we were out yesterday!!! I hope none of my eggs were hurt!!!

Mom2Munchkins, I had an over night incident where my bator got unplugged. It was down to 79! All of my 15 eggs hatched but 2.

I have eggs due to hatch on Easter day. Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, and Lavender Orpingtons.

mom2munchkins... I think you will be fine. I have read where many people have had similar incidents and they had good hatches.
