I forgot about the diaper experience.
Ok so I bought diapers so Lucy could come inside with Pigpen. I bought one for him even though he uses the towel cuz I didn't want Lucy to feel like an idiot. They were made by lovemychix and they are adorable. However, 45 minutes later I had a room full of feathers and two broken chickens. Pigpen was laying on his side with one wing sticking straight up and a foot in the pouch and Lucy somehow got hers flipped upside down where the pouch went over her head and she walked into the wall and fell over. I wanted to take a picture but it was too dark. I never laughed so hard in my life! Needless to say they are both pretty ticked off at me :/

PIGPEN
One night Pigpen was watching TV with me and he fell asleep on the back of my chair. He was being so quiet I forgot he was there so I flipped off the TV and light and went to bed.Later, I got up to go to the bathroom. It is a straight shot so I don't need lights. I'm sitting there in the dark and I hear something odd. I'm not going to lie, I was a little freaked out cuz the axe murderer is always behind the shower curtain. A few seconds later I hear it again and it's definitely coming from the bathtub. It was kind of a low "brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" scratch scratch scratch. Now I'm definitely freaked out so I sneak down the hallway and wake my husband to tell him there's someone hiding in the bathtub. He thinks I'm nuts but he humored me and goes to the bathroom, flips on the light and opens the shower curtain and says "I'm telling you there is no one-holy crap!" "COCK-A-DOODLE-DOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Poor Pigpen found his way to the bathroom and was sleeping in the bathtub.

OH yeah, i dont know when your daughters speech is due, but if there is still time, there is a wonderful story about a sort of slow but happy go lucky chicken owned by one of the BYCmembers.Her name, the chicken is Derp and if you search you will find al lof her stories since birth. A lot of us have fallen in love with her, she has beaten a lot of odds. Her owners member name is Nambroth and I think if you send her a message she would be agreeable since it is for education purposes. We lovingly call her Fud Lady and if you read Derps story you will see why. This chicken is an inspiration and her owner is nothing short of a hero for loving Derp or maybe the other way around.
