Looking for information on duckling identification.

White is a recessive color - you need white from both parents to make a baby white.

The white covers up any other genetic colors. A white duck can carry many different kinds of color genes that you can't see 'cause the duck is white. For example, it seems your duck might be carrying Ancona type genes.

When your white duck mated with another white duck, all the ducklings came out white, and you don't know what else they may be carrying for genetic colors.

Your white duck obviously mated with a non-white duck for that one ducklings. He/she carries only one white gene, so the duckling is not white, but shows its genetic colors. Since your other ducks don't have the duckling's color, the white mom must carry the duckling's colors (hidden by the white).

Can you adopt them. I'd be worried sick those babies are going to be picked off by predators and the Pekins can't fly to get away from anything either. I guess I just want everyone to have a safe home. :love :welcome

Oh I agree. @Jen0630 is adopting them, or catching and adopting out, a possibility?
