I think people use fish tanks. You give them litter, I don't know what that is made of, but its made of something. Then, as long as they have whatever they need to burrow/live in, I think its pretty easy. Buy the live ones, feed them, and get a colony going. Then its pretty simple after that.

I hope to breed them. Then you can feed your birds LIVE ones! How much fun would that be for the birds (for the worms... not so much).

How do you do that? I would be very interested in doing that if I new how it worked
