looking for OPINIONS on CAE

Ya'll are just like a flock of hens. Toss a tasty tidbit out and things get uglified fast. I love you all for it though.
I appreciate the opinions. I've definitely gotten what I wanted out of the discussion. I agree with KS on most points. CAE reminds me of diseases like Lupus: poorly understood, very general symptoms, unreliable testing. It all adds up to a lot of potential misdiagnosis. Only time will tell. What I have found here, however, is that most folks don't 100% agree with that outlook. While I don't feel uncomfortable having a CAE 'suspect' goat on my premises, someone who wants to buy a goat from me may not agree. I guess that means I'll pass on the doe.
