This morning my young rooster didn't want to come out of the coop. Not normal, so I picked him up and isolated him right then. Checked him over and he has a runny nose and his crop is flat. Got him water and he drank right away. Split his food but didn't see him eat any.
Went to the store and got electrolytes and probiotics. Checked on him when I took in the water and he does look and is acting better. I saw him eat and drink the supplemented water. His nose also seems to to have stopped.
Just hoping someone can help me figure this out. Thanks!!!

Ps I'm in Texas

Do you have another rooster that may have been keeping him from food and water? Offer him some scrambled chopped egg, and add some buttermilk or electrolyte water to his feed to make it mushy. Listen for any noisy breathing, cough, sneeze, or more nasal drainage or eye drainage.
