Looking for pics of Blue Laced Barnevelders

I ordered 4 from a feed store getting them Privett at the end of April.

Doesn’t seem like they are common/popular here at BYC, but I think they may be picking up steam.

I hadn’t thought about the iridescence like @AinaWGSD mentioned. Blue doesn’t get that way, I guess. My regular Barnevelder is my most irridescent bird! (I also just got a silver double laced chick from a breeder 🤞 for a girl).

@The Welch Chickens Thanks for sharing the pics. I did see those online and they were the prettiest! But I’ve also seen a lot of pics online where the blue was darker and more discreet. I’ve also seen pics that looked more like BLR Wyandottes with straight combs. So I wasn’t sure what to believe with internet picture searches, lol.

We got some day olds- they are 4 days old in this pic. As mine will be a few weeks older than yours it will be cool to compare. Which country do you reside in?

It will be fun to compare them. I’m in the US. I’m getting 4 of them at the end of April from Privett Hatchery.
I’m in South Australia. I wonder if they will still look similar. I’ve got two- I suspect one is male, one is female. I can’t wait to see you upload your photos.

They are adorable! Do you have any other Barnevelders? I have the standard double laced who I think you saw on my gender questioning post. I also have a traditional Brnevelder hen named Peanut Butter.
