Looking for quiet chickens

If you want a quiet animal, I don't think chickens are the thing. They like to talk. They are very social birds.

no guarantees not matter what the SEX! my white bantam cochin hen is louder than any rooster!! and my little black d'anver girl as well! when they get going! i do live in a neighborhood and have had a rooster or two for very short times and none of my neighbor mind them or the hens. i have been very fortunate! we have no rules as we are rural....except the one my husband made....no roosters! i am sorry i agreed to that tho...i would love just ONE.
