Looking for reliable hatcheries in midwest?

Need to replace egg laying hens. Have lost 8 in last 3 months due to cayote and dog. Need to find reliable hatchery in In./Midwest area. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I got 25 chicks from Mt Healthy in Ohio. They were all healthy upon arrival. They are now 8 weeks and growing like weeds. The EE's are super pretty too.

Hoover Hatchery in IA. Very reasonable prices too.

Thank-you for your help. I'll call Meyers tomorrow to see about availability. Mt. Healthy does not have 17 wk pullets just chicks.

You have likely already solved your dilemma but just wanted to chime in that Cacklle Hatchery in Lebanon, Missouri is first class-- good prices, good chick quality, great selection, honest about their Easter Eggers being EEs not Ameracaunas!, better than average pullet sexing and very friendly when you order. I believe they do sometimes sell pullets.
