I love The Fayomi hen so much that i am making a Mix of them with a Game rooster, and leghorn hen mix with game rooster and EE with Game rooster. working on making there Combs smaller to handle cold weather, i have 2 roosters that hatched 3 weeks ago and there combs are Red! They might just crow in a week or 2? Have lost none from Hawks this year since they can fly 10 feet up and over our 6 foot fence, they not for people wanting to have heavy birds, all mine not under lights are now laying strong and i get 12 eggs a week from 7 hens. Birds that are from Farm or Someone hatching from there coop? Will make stronger chickens! Good Luck and i am sorry for your loss, i get too attached to my chickens!
