Looking for unwanted Fake wooden eggs for hens to sit on

I'm looking for somebody who has fake WOODEN EGGS who will not mind shipping them to me for free If they don't use them.
It would be much Appreciated!

That might be tough, considering you're asking it to be shipped at their cost in addition to being free.
You can try a golf ball or ping pong ball if you have one.

i've used plastic golf balls i bought at walmart i got a pack of 6 for like 1.50

Thank you! I know. I just needed some ideas how to get my chicken to practice to lay eggs in one spot.

If you have a Cracker Barrel near you they sell both white and brown fake eggs for pretty cheap. I got 1/2 a dozen of them and used them for the first couple of weeks in the nest boxes and it worked great.

Just remember which ones are the ceramic ones...

We have brown egg layers so we got the white ceramic eggs!

Hobby lobby also sells the fake eggs pretty cheap if you have one near you. I think they were less than a dollar and look/feel just like real eggs. So much so my kiddos kept bringing them in the egg basket. I put a mark on them to tell the difference.

Golf balls work fine. They will lay eggs where ever you place it. I just wish they would hatch. I can always use more golf balls.
