I read somewhere on here that one of you hadmade a sling or support for your chick with wry-neck. I have a 7 day old with wry-neck. The only time she seems comfortable is curled up in my hand with her neck supported. I am walking around carrying this tiny baby wrapped in an old washcloth. I have places I am going to have to go this weekend unfortunately, and with snow on the ground, the chick cannot come along. Any suggestions for good support for her little body & neck while I am gone?

Thanks!

Thank you for replying! DH thinks I need to just put the poor baby out of his misery.

Even with a support to hold the neck up - the chick will still need to be able to feed and drink - I am so very sorry for you - I don;t have any suggestions to help your chick.

I can only hope that somebody here can help you further - Chickenzoo is amazing at having solutions for problems - maybe try and contact her......!

I wish you luck!
