We bought some Cinnamon Queen Hens from Beebe Flea Market in Beebe, AR about 5 months ago. REALLY want to get some more of these beautiful and friendly hens! These were raised for 4-H and well handled by people, but are OBVIOUSLY intelligent and easy to work with chickens. Does anyone know where we could get some more in the same area of Arkansas? We live in between Little Rock and Conway. I am not sure at all about raising chicks and am hesitant about ordering day olds, we would really prefer some pullets or new layers if possible. Thanks in advance for any help!

Welcome to BYC. Why not try contacting your local 4-H and see if they know of someone in your area that might have hens. Good luck in increasing your flock - remember to quarantine.

You might want to try posting in your state thread if anyone knows where some are vailable https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/31227/arizona-chickens Also try your local farm store bulletin board or ask if they know who has them, Red Sex Links are really popular and farm stores usually sell them in the spring, if you can't find any pullets now, would bet that farm stores in your area will have chicks in the spring.

Have you dried craigslist or looking up the local 4-H club in your area as I am sure they would be more then happy to point you in the correct direction
