Looking to buy 1 Khaki Campbell hen to replace my pet one that died this week

I posted this in another area and then found this area. So I apologize for the duplication. I lost one of my 3 pet Khaki Campbell hens this week and life in my backyard is just not right with only 2 ducks. I am looking to buy a hen a year or less old and will consider a duckling as long as you know it's a hen or it's old enough we can confirm by head color, etc. I live in north Florida and I'm willing to drive south as far as Tampa, north as far as Atlanta, and west over to Pensacola. Please help me restore my peaceful little back yard by letting me know you have a birdie girl to replace my girl. This is for a pet for egg-laying and I have a wonderful little back yard for her to peck around for bugs and grit along with my other 2 girls and a nice safe house and projected run.

I am so sad to say that we think a hawk killed her judging by the way she looked and our research on the internet. Their run was not covered. Last night we covered it. We had them outside in our backyard now for over a year and thought all as safe. We were wrong.

Oh heck, that happened to me right after I got my second duck. We thought all was well with the pen close to the house, but lo and behold a dang hawk swooped in. We got a top on ours too. Sucks to learn the hard way sometimes. So sorry for you loss.

Sorry you lost her to a predator. They are great ducks, we run a large and ever growing flock of them.

I got another hen today! Someone a couple hours south of me had 3 left from her last bunch of babies but wasn't sure a few days ago if any of them were hens. I talked to her earlier today and she felt sure enough that I drove down and picked her up. She is bigger than my other two, but since she's the new face in the crowd that may be better. They are working towards adjusting. The new one is looking for "her" flock and the more dominant of my other two is not happy and is quacking up a storm. But, I am very happy to have my balance of three birdie girls again!
