Looking to buy or find a silkie or blue Cochin hen-West TN

We lost one of our two sweet silkies last night. Looking to find another hen so our other silkie has some company again and not lonely. Our current one left is 9 months old. Suggestions for pairing another one. Does anyone know a breeder or someone with some available near Memphis?

I am picking up Silkie 25 chicks from Cackle Hatchery in late March. Otherwise, I currently have three pullets(born last June), but I'd have to talk to my kiddo before I could promise anything.

I also have two white Cochin hens, born in April last year, if you'd prefer one of them. I have plenty of chickens so I wouldn't mind parting with one to help you and your hen out.

This is Flufferina and Chloe. They are both super gentle with other chickens. Flufferina even adopted some week old chicks.


This is Mary Peepins. She's a fair amount larger, non crested, and more agressive to non Silkies than the other two (as in she will actually engage more readily in climbing the social ladder) but isn't a bully.
