They are stunning! Do you have Barred Rocks or Dominques in there also? I LOVE them! How is your flock doing with the snow? We have been getting snow all day, of course the babies are still in the house.

Yes 2 are Barred Rock, no Dominiques. The Light Brahma baby u. The 1 pic with the Lavenders I call Snowball. This is her! She's so sweet!!!

They don't really like the snow. I have to shovel out the run for them the go outside. As you can see they've taken a bunch of the straw out of the coop! Lol

You do realize that the reason the Silkie is smaller is because it's a bantam right? It's adorable! You have me wanting one! Lol

Yes! I did not want one, but I must say, he/she is growing on me! My daughter picked it out and had to have it. She's 4, how can you say no? Hahaha. My brother had some variety of bantams and his were SO mean, especially the rooster, I shouldn't make sweeping generalizations of all bantams, but I felt the larger fowl would be a better choice for my kiddos. The silkie is SO sweet at this point! The lady I purchased the chicks from said all her Silkies were fabulous with kids.

Oh good!!! My had a bantam rooster that would attack you if you turned your back on him! He tasted good! Lol
