Looking to get started

Hi! I am a mom of two boys who is just beginning the journey of starting my own little chicken flock in the city (Columbus, Ohio). We are doing our research so that we give our flock the best chances of doing well. I am looking forward to getting this coop built and things rolling and so are my boys. My youngest just checked out some chicks at City Folks Farm Shoppe in Clintonville yesterday and he now has the bug to get this done NOW! 8)

We are really new to all of this but I just did my first try at maple sapping too this year and it has been successful and I feel the confidence growing going into this venture as well. I have read many articles already and gained some much needed information. Thank you to everyone for all the great information.
