It's not that she doesn't want to kill it. She would rather relocate it and have it suffer but she can pretend she did the right thing. So many of us surround our selves with self serving myths rather than make the hard choice and do what's right. How many pet chicken people let a sick bird suffer until it finally succumbs rather than cull it.

animal control will humanely euthanize raccoons if it is illegal to relocate. its a win win situation
