Loose stool?

Can stress cause loose stool? We just introduced 5 new hens to our flock of 6 hens. Everyone is vibrant and healthy, but I think I'm noticing some more loose stool than would be normal. Watery, with the squirt sound (yes, you are welcome for the vivid details). We just put them together last night. It's their first day together.

My Rooster has had loose stool when he was stressed out and heat is also a factor with the way the weather has been down here!

Ok. I guess I'll keep an eye on them and just make sure there aren't any other symptoms. One especially was doing some panting earlier, though it has cooled down a bit now.
