Loosing feathers

I was wondering why my hen not quite a year yet is losing breast feathers she's also losing back feathers but I seen my rooster jump on her so Ik why thoughts are missing. She's not a brooder idt she comes right up to me every time I'm in the coop. She also all of a sudden stop laying.

Where are you located? Can you post a pic of her? Sounds like she might be molting. That will cause the feather loss and also can stop them from laying until the molt is over with.

Please post pictures. It could be molting, parasites, overcrowding or overmating issues.
