Metrodinazole - 1/2 tablet
Penicillin - 1/2 tablet
Safeguard - .3ml

Tonight while feeding her I felt a small mass in her throat - I think in her trachea. She stretches her neck sometimes - I was massaging it for her and felt the lump

Can you give Baytril as a dose undiluted? It would certainly make things easier for me.

When I give it orally I give it undiluted at 0.09 ml per pound once a day for no more than five days.

She was dead in the coop this morning. I am losing one every month. I felt a lump or growth in her throat last night. She kept stretching her head trying to swallow. Was not gasping or anything and no discharge.

Called the people I bought from who said they had been vaccinated. But something is wrong - I have had them six months and some are still not very big or laying eggs

Guess when the rest go that will be the end of chickens for me. Cannot watch these sweet birds just waste away. And reading this forum there are an awful lot of sick birds.

I'm so sorry. I've been there, losing a chicken every month for a while. Get the necropsy so you can hopefully save the rest.
