It just doesn't seem reasonable to have to wait the better part of a week to get blood work and a chest x ray scheduled.

Edit:
My Dr did call me back, when he got back to the office.
He said the reason he had not scheduled the tests yet was he was waiting to hear back from the radiologist as to whether another test he was thinking of ordering was practical for me, and didn't want me to have to go to the hospital twice.

After consulting with the radiologist to decide what tests they need, my Dr has set up my tests and lab work for tomorrow afternoon. He is also ready to call and set up my surgery, so I should know in a day or two when that is happening.
