I am so sorry to hear about your trouble. One of my best friends told me today that she is losing her house also. They have to be out by the 31st with three kids and a dog to deal with. It is just so hard sometimes. I hope that things get worked out for you soon. I hope that you find something or someone who can help.

Get the book, Surviving Foreclosure. It will help. You should be able to get it at any bookstore. It is published by Nolo. BTW, when you file bankruptcy it should stop the foreclosure process at once.

Look into the federal government. Most banks want to work with you, they dodn't need another home to sell. check with other banks, churches etc. Good Luck.

They JUST did it again the other night in California?! Total negotiation... they don't WANT to take your house. Some of them roll what you own on the end, refi and then lower payments giving you 1 more month free of payment to get on board.

You really need to keep calling and fighting... show up at the bank in person. They need to KNOW you are human....

Keep fighting... don't throw your hands up!!!!!

The book I was referring to is called The Forclosure Survival Guide not Surviving Forclosure. It is a very helpful book and it explains what your options are in this situation. Things may noy be as grim as you think.

Well been a busy couple of days.Trying to get all this paperwork together for lawyer.Think We only need a couple more things. The whole thing is so darn min bending. The bank is offering this deed and lieu thing.They called again this morning but I missed the call.Will have DH call them back this eve.I don't understand some of these crazy banks.People like US who ARE willing to pay and keep houses but just run into a problem or something and get behind.They are willing to do Short Sales,Deed and Lieu's which they said would even give Us a $2500 check.They keep sending our account to different people at the co and I think Peter doesnt have a Clue What Paul is doing!I got sad news for them if this house sits long wont be much left of it.The basement floods in heavy rain and snow, the roof leaks... the list goes on.They are going to lose half the value of probably what its worth now (which has fallen already from 2004) in the long run anyway. Gonna try to get my mind off it for a bit and go out and sit with the birds what I DO have left and check on my baby chicks.I had 2 more newbies hatch last night
