Well the wife and I were out yesterday till late so the coop did not get closed up. The run was shut. Sometime yesterday or last night coyotes dug under the fence and got all of em. Lost 9 rhode island reds that were great layers!. Learned a lesson. Bought electric fencing this morning and will put that around the outside about 8 inches off the ground! The yard is roofed so no problems there. Think this time I will mix my flock up and no rooster's this time around. Only found one headless one in the yard. the rest were drug off down a trail just off my property, then the trail goes cold.....
