I lost my first hen from what appears to have been a medical issue.

In hind sight, she had been reluctant to enter the coop and seemed to want to stay in the run.. I did not force her in because I was outside with my dog, but when I went to put her in a couple hours later, she was dead.

Does this look like a prolapsed vent? I did not see signs of trauma (I have lost to raccoons in the past, but reinforced the coop). I wasn't sure if maybe a small possum would have caused this, or if it was just a prolapse.

Is there anything I should do moving forward to prevent my other chickens from having this issue?

Very small prolapse if anything.

Would you be open to doing a home autopsy and posting pics for evaluation?
