lost all eggs :( so starting 4th incubation attempt this time with....

Ok cool thanks and might I say WHOA! Those are some incredibly efficient layers. I'd have to bet that those are relative to the chickens my DWs' Aunt had when she had her huge production egg operation going back in Chester County, Penn. I'll have to show meh DW those when I wake her up in a bit.

Random note here but I got the body of my coop painted tonight! I'm real close to relieving my poor girls of their current sleep arangement. They sure do get quite a bit bigger when you get them at 11 weeks old lol. They, roughly are going to be 19 weeks tomorrow!

Been looking franticly I mean casually for the past week for eggs around the yard and in the hutch in the mornings. Geez I can only imagine the anticipation of waiting for hatchlings! Speaking of which, how are they doing?
 
well if i do have any that survived all this horrible circumstances, they are on day 20 tomorrow (saturday) will be day 21 for me, but if i do get 1 i will surely post pics on here
 
not 1 single one made it unfortunetly, but i did go out on the 5th and buy 3 more dozen trader joe fertile eggs so we will see this will be attempt 4, i will use this thread to keep updated on
 
Bock- i know how you feel. my 4th attempt is in the bator.... 22 days.. no moving had 5 that i saw movement on day 18... and still nothin.... friday i will be setting another 3-4 dozen.... GAH im going crazy! 1 1/2 dozen will be a fertility check for my own eggs the rest are from my friend down the road.... *sigh* keepin my fingers crossed! for you and me!
 
so after all is done i came out with 7 developing eggs, quite a few blood rings and a omlette full of infertile eggs, so once again i am comming into this with 7 total still alive and moving chicks due late on christmas day or early the next day so hopefully these will pull threw and i get soem christmas chickies
 
im going to go home and candle 1 last time make sure there is movement in all 7 eggs then i will put them in lock down, and hope for christmas babies, and yes i am on the christmas thread along with everyone else lol, i though hatching was suppose to slow down in winter not speed up. lol
