Lost an old loyal friend today.....

sniff sniff...I've got an old buddy too...sniff sniff.

Hugs and more hugs and sniff sniff some more hugs.

I'm so sorry.

Humbley,
Gretchen

Loosing my chihuahua was especially hard since it was my fault she passed away. When your only 13 forgetting your dog inside a locked car makes you grow up real fast.

aw, chickpooh so sorry. Hugs to you girlie girl.

I know it's hard. I moved into an apt. and had 3 ferrets and I opened the window come spring and my ferret went in and the window slammed down on him and broke his neck. I felt so guilty.

Even now all these years later, it still gets me sad. And you are SO right...when things like that happen it makes us all that more aware. Thankfully huh? So nothing like that happens again.

More hugs!

me,
gretch

I can't even read the dog's prayer, cuz it makes my cry, had to scroll past real fast. I lost a dog several years ago who was awesome. The vet couldn't do anything more. We had him cremated (DD was at church camp and we did it for her), and I still have his ashes. They are packed away, but I plan to spread them on our new property at some point. Lost Grandma's dog about 10 years ago, she was my kids guardian dog, self-appointed. I know some people only think of them as animals, but for us they are members of the family.

I feel for you. Right now my heart aches, thinking of my lost buddies......

My condolences. Dogs are really so special. I lost my 12 year old boxer/retriever mix, Cody, this year. His best friend, my pointer/yellow lab mix, Kes, is going on 11 years old now, too. When she is gone, I dont want to do this anymore. It's hard to lose such wonderful, loyal friends.
