Definitely look different to me, though I don’t know to much about quail.
At the farm store I work at I’ve heard from 4-h parents and grandparents that, come show season they will switch from the cheap cheap chicken feed to kalmbach chicken feed because it improves the feather quality. I’m guessing this affects the color to. Idk if this is true in quail to, she may not have had the best nutrition out in the wild with being a domestic quail, but I wouldn’t think it would have that much of a difference on the color?
