Lost cats wander home, what about lost chickens?

I always quarantine my new chickens for 30 days then put them in a adjacent pen where they can "get to know" the current flock. After about a month I'll slip them in the big coop at night and after about a week all is well.

I usually quarentine also, but this one came from a close friend. Her birds have no issues. I am not worried. I just have never seen a chicken run off. I have added new birds twice before this, and there was some pecking and boom done. At least the straggle around at the tale end of the flock. This one wants nothing to do with them. The dog crate thing is a great idea. Hmmm... if a get desperate I am going to try that. Thanks everyone!
