Lost Chicken in our House

We have a young male, and a young female chicken in the house woke up in the middle of the night and no boy chicken to be found, looked high and low. No luck yet, no feathers anywhere or blood, no droppings beyond where their box is. Any tips?
This thread is 13 years old. Also there are a bunch of tips in it for finding your chicken. No need to resurrect the thread, though it is almost Easter. 🤣

It usually works better if you start a new thread of your own.

My basic chicken finding tip: if you look everywhere and don't see the chicken, listen carefully. They often make little sounds to themselves. This works better in daylight, or when the lights are on, but sometimes works in the dark too. (Chickens tend to be quieter in the dark.)

Look under things and on top of things (furniture, cabinets, shelves, curtain rods, doors, etc.)
