Lost feathers, been bald for several months

I have an 5 year old ISA Brown who has a similar feather-loss pattern to yours Velacreation. She has been that way 18 months and the rest of the flock are fine. She does not self pluck.

I have wormed her, mite treated, upped her protein....just about everything with no change.

She wears a poultry saddle to protect her back.

Though she looks a complete disgrace, she manages to lay eggs very well, with only one or two days off a month.

Oh, and free ranges over several acres.

I live in Mexico, and I am feeding them a high protein lay pellet plus free choice grain mix (wheat, cracked corn, sorghum, oats). The rooster is a mutt, but looks like a barred rock mix.

I don't think it is self plucking, as I never see them doing it, but maybe it is. I never see them plucking each other, either.

They lay eggs just fine and seem healthy and alert, no other issue except for this.

I think leaving them out and changing their feed is a good idea. We'll see how they look in 3 weeks.
