1 down ? to go!

Just an idea, I know many people hate barbwire but we had to stretch barbwire about 1 1/2 feet up off the ground and stretch it from fence post to fence post to keep the goats from rubbing on the fence and bowing it out. My goats would lean so hard they would bend the fence out that the animals could get out of the fence. Anyway, it has worked great and no injuries since we did it about 2 years ago. Again, I'm not starting a debate on the safety of barbwire, just giving you the idea to research and decide for yourself.

Actually, on the east side of my enclosure, I attached my fence to an existing barbed wire fence, and I have no problems on that side. Never even crossed my mind to do the same the rest of the way around... Oh, by the way,...... THAT FENCE HURTS!!! I was out there today pointing some things out to my wife, when zap... no fun!

I want to thank everyone who offered suggestions, and shared their knowledge in my thread!

I went through yesterday, and wrote down all the animals suggested of causing the carnage, and then went through and put tally marks below the name of the animal. Raccoon won! You guys are good!
