Lost my best RIR hen this morning

Sorry to hear of the loss of your girl. This heat is really awful, never knew that it was so hard on chickens.
Installing misters tomorrow just to be on the safe side. Installed fans today.
I guess we do what we can and hope that is enough.

So sorry about your hen, and hopefully no more losses. My chickens are doing ok as long they got access to water and shade and let them ride the weather out. Its only so much we can do except to bring them in the house in basement or something of that nature.

Well I have been complaining about it being hot here but I am going to shut my mouth because the high 60's are nothing compared to what ya all are going thru.

Living in the cool UP of MI and shutting my mouth about the heat.
