I’m not looking for an advice I know how it happened there is no one to blame but myself. This morning I looked out the window to do a quick head count but I didn’t see any of my chickens instead I saw something black in my coop. I quickly went outside and saw that it was a skunk. As I approached the coop it left and that’s when I realized I had lost everyone in my flock. I had a momma hen with 7 chicks (2weeks old) and 2 juvenile hens. I’m devastated I know it was completely my fault. I expanded my coop with the addition of all the new chicks. But I hadn’t placed any wire underneath the coop. I keep putting it off. I have learned my lesson at a really high price.

Sorry to hear about your hens... I too lost hens to a raccoon, now they are bolted in at night in the coop. I haven't had skunks, do they really dig under the whole building? I don't have wire under either.
