Thanks so much everyone. Kind words from other chicken lovers definatley make you feel better.

I have had many chickens for many years and she was my first and only prolapser, so I dont feel like it was diet. I really think she has some internal issues causing it as a secondary condition. But I do appreciate the advice--something to think about.

I'm so sorry. We lost our first chicken, my favorite roo, 2 months ago. I hate how it's always the favorites that go first. If it were any of my aggressive roos I wouldn't have been grieving for so long. This was the only guy who built a strong bond to human contact.
