Hi all!
I have a 1.5 yr old scovy girl that originally started with egg peritonitis. We’ve been dealing with that for a while. She’s been on metacam and Baytril.
We tried to take her off meds and she went downhill quick. X-rays and bloodwork show an enlarged liver and her liver numbers are off.
I’ve read in this forum milk thistle and aloe juice can help. But does anyone know dosage?
She’s currently on Baytril and Clavamox as of yesterday. I gave her metacam but will stop that because I know it’s hard on their livers.
I also am tube feeding her baby parrot food with pedialyte twice a day. She has lost quite a bit of weight. Today she’s had trouble standing and is tipping over.
Is there anything else I can do to help her? Any suggestions. TIA.
