Lost my Lavendr chick

I just have to tell others to be careful with cats. I had a new Lavender baby hatch thismorning. I went back to check on it and the cat my daughter let in the house, moved the lid to the side and took my new born chick. I am just sick! No more cat in my house!! I'm just glad I didn't have more hatched at the time....

Oh that's so horrible! I very much understand where your coming from. None of my lavender ameraucanas hatched and the same thing happened to my coturnix, except the cat was too stupid to eat anyone. Still I lost 4 chicks cause of it.
