I've been really pleased with my blue scale quail, and seeing that I have a quail hutch, I got 120 coturnix eggs. I realize that not all will hatch, and many I will want for meat. So, I'm hoping to have a nice group of layers and meat birds.

I have a hovabator with a turner and a brinsea mini. I'm thinking of hatching in those. I understand the preferred temperatures are 99.5 to 101F and the time is about 14 to 17 days. Correct?

Guess I better be cleaning that hutch out!

Thanks! The inside humidity is 44%, so I really don't have to do much until lockdown except keep an eye on it.

First day of setting and the dang incubator isn't keeping the 90+ temps it was.

I've raised it and keeping an eye on it.

16 days, eh? My, that's faster than chicks.
