Lost my weight loss OOMPH...

I shouldnt let food/mgmt of it rule me...but it does...

most of my family is morbidly obese...mom, gramma, aunts, cousins etc...nasty health probs from it..

I was there; not moribdly; but severely obese..for a 5'2 woman weighin in at 186..was REALLY overweight...health
probs were starting...

now i'm 130 and I'm just slowly gaining again...

beans are higher in weigh watchers points..2-4 pts for a 1/2 cup..I LOVE beans tho..anything carbs is quite high..beans, barley, rice, noodles..
rice is anywhere from 3-6 pts a 1/4 cup ...see how quickly things add up??

for someone who gets 29pts a day...you almost have to eat cardboard/grass if you dont like veggies/fruits..which i dont care for mostly...

I like: potatoes (4 pts for a plain baked), corn cob medium 2 pts, green beans are 0, green/red/yellow/orange peppers are 0, lettuce is 0
onions, scallions, leeks 0 pts..thats all the veggies I like...tomatoes I can eat on a sandwich or in salsa..0 pts..

fruits; grapes, apples, bananas, oranges (occasionally) are all 0 pts...

thats about it..w/fruits/veggies...was NOT brought up on them..

<sigh> and here it is 12;12 and I have yet to eat lunch OR b'fast...again...thats sabatoging myself..

Stay busy - long walks, outside tasks, a good book, etc. to keep your mind/body otherwise occupied. Anything that helps you not to dwell on food. And I agree that being healthy is far more important than being a certain size.
