Once i was outside with my quail... long story short one of my quail flew up on my neighbors roof. i got a ladder and just as i was bout to reach it........a hawk flew down and took him.... i jumped from the laddder and threw a rock at it....it dropped my quail onto the ground and as i ran over to it it had blood all over it. i washed it off and it wasnt blood from him.. it was mouse blood... i was like EWWW.... thought that story my enlighten u a bit!!!

They normally freak and cheep their heads off if they accidentally go off alone. I'm afraid something must have happened to her. I'm so sorry, I know how bad you must feel.
